The Airythemes Ecosystem

Nxlogy Solutions has been building WordPress sites for clients since 2018. Over those years, we kept running into the same problem: the plugins we needed either did not exist, had too many paywalls on basic features, or were abandoned mid-lifecycle by their developers.

So we started building our own. First internally, then we decided to share them. The WordPress community gave us our skills, our clients, and our livelihood. Giving back in the form of quality free plugins felt like the right thing to do.

We chose the name "Airy" because it represents what we believe plugins should be: lightweight, clean, and unobtrusive. Plugins that do their job without adding bloat, without slowing your site, without demanding more of your server than they need.

Airythemes is intentionally kept separate from Nxlogy Solutions. One is a services company that builds custom solutions. The other is a product brand that builds tools for the entire WordPress community. Different audiences, different business model, different expectations — but the same standard of quality.

Our Principles

What we believe about plugins

These principles guide every decision we make when building, updating, and supporting our plugins.

Free means free

Core functionality stays free forever. We will never introduce a paywall on a feature that was previously free. Pro versions add new capabilities — they do not remove existing ones.

Clean code only

Every plugin must pass WordPress.org review standards. Proper sanitization, validation, escaping, nonces, and capability checks are non-negotiable. We do not ship code that creates security debt for our users.

Performance is a feature

Plugins should load only what they need, where they need it. Scripts and styles that load globally on every page when they are only needed on one page are a failure of engineering, not a minor inconvenience.

Support is part of the product

Unanswered support threads on WordPress.org are not acceptable. Every question deserves a response. If a question repeats twice, it goes into the documentation immediately.

Actively maintained

A plugin that worked with WordPress 6.4 and has not been updated in a year is a liability. We test against every new WordPress release and update proactively, not reactively.

Community first

We participate in the WordPress community genuinely — not just to promote our plugins. We answer questions from users of other plugins, contribute to discussions, and share knowledge freely.

Airythemes brand created

Nxlogy decides to separate its plugin products under a dedicated brand. The airythemes.com domain is registered and the "Airy" naming convention is established for all plugins.

2024

First plugins published on WordPress.org

Airy Wishlist and Airy Frontend Forms are submitted to WordPress.org, pass review, and receive first active installs. First user reviews arrive.

2025

Plugin ecosystem planned

AiryRank (SEO/AEO/GEO), Airy Buddy Builder (BuddyPress + Breakdance), AMMQ (WooCommerce quantities), AAAC (admin access control) and AQB (quote & booking) are specified and enter development.

2026

Active development & community building

Full marketing launch begins. YouTube tutorials, blog content, and the Breakdance extension ecosystem (Airy Elements for Breakdance) enter planning. WordPress 7.0 AI integration targeted for all Pro plugins.
